Best time to visit Australia

What is the best time of year to visit Central Australia?

The most popular travel time in the Red Centre is from April until the first week or two in October. The climate then is especially conducive to taking walking tours and engaging in other outdoor activities. The dry season begins in May, and the combination of low humidity and temperatures around 28-30°C (82 to 85°F) is especially appealing.
The Central Australian rainy season – a time for lush rainforests and powerful waterfalls – typically lasts from November until April. Afternoon thunderstorms are common, but the breaks are ideal times to take dips in natural pools and experience tropical rainforests at their finest.
